Ingredients

  • 500 g patinho (or coxão duro, moído)
  • 1 large cebola (picada)
  • 2 ripe tomates (picado) (seedless and peeled)
  • 1 taiti lemon suco de limão taiti
  • to taste refined salt sal refinado
  • to taste ground black pepper pimenta do reino moída
  • to taste siria or cinnamon powder pimenta síria ou canela em pó
  • 30 g fermento biológico fresco
  • 1 tbsp açúcar cristal
  • 700 g farinha de trigo
  • 0.25 cup óleo vegetal (sabor neutro)
  • 375 mL água fria
  • 1 tsp sal refinado

Instructions 

  • Mix the yeast, sugar, and warm water; let it activate for 10 minutes.
  • Combine the flour, salt, and oil; add the activated yeast mixture and water, knead until smooth.
  • Let the dough rest for 30 minutes, then divide into portions and fill with seasoned ground beef.
  • Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20 minutes until golden brown.

Notes

Ensure the dough is well rested for a softer texture.
