Instructions
Place sugar in a container with a lid.
Cut vanilla beans lengthwise and scrape seeds. Mix seeds into sugar thoroughly.
Add vanilla beans to sugar, covering them.
Seal and store in a dry, dark place for at least 2 weeks.
Process part of the sugar with vanilla beans in a blender until pulverized, then mix back with the rest.
Store in a sealed container.
