Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 150°C (300°F).
  • Spread sugar evenly in a glass or ceramic baking dish.
  • Bake for about 5 hours, stirring every 30 minutes to prevent burning and ensure even caramelization.
  • Remove from oven, mix well, and let cool. Transfer to an airtight container once cooled.
  • If sugar forms large clumps, process in a blender before storing.
