Delicious buttery peanut cookies with a melt-in-your-mouth texture, perfect for a sweet treat or snack.

Ingredients

Dough

  • 230 g manteiga sem sal
  • 65 g açúcar de confeiteiro impalpável (I)
  • 6 g sal refinado (cerca de 1 c. chá)
  • 5 mL extrato de baunilha (ou 1-2mL essência)
  • 300 g farinha de trigo
  • 125 g amendoim torrado (picado)
  • 125 g açúcar de confeiteiro impalpável (II, para polvilhar)

Instructions 

  • Mix butter, powdered sugar (I), salt, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Add flour and chopped peanuts, knead until dough forms.
  • Shape into small balls and place on baking sheet.
  • Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 10 minutes or until golden.
  • Allow to cool and dust with powdered sugar (II).

Notes

Chill the dough before shaping for easier handling.
