A delightful cherry blondie combining fresh fruit and chocolate in a simple, tasty treat.

Ingredients

Dairy and Oils

  • 0.35 cup manteiga sem sal
  • 2.5 tablespoons óleo vegetal (milho, canola, girassol)

Dry Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups açúcar cristal
  • 1 large ovo
  • 1 teaspoon extrato de baunilha (ou essência)
  • 1.5 cups farinha de trigo
  • 0.75 teaspoon fermento químico em pó
  • 0.3 teaspoon sal refinado

Fruits and Chocolate

  • 1 cup cereja fresca
  • 0.3 cup chocolate ao leite (gotas ou picado)

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a 9x12 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  • Melt butter and mix with oil. Let cool slightly.
  • Add sugar and mix well. Allow to cool if hot.
  • Stir in egg and vanilla extract.
  • Add flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix until just combined.
  • Fold in cherries and chocolate chips.
  • Pour batter into prepared pan, spread evenly.
  • Bake for 35 minutes or until golden on top.
  • Cool for 20 minutes before slicing. Optional: drizzle melted chocolate on top.

Notes

Use fresh cherries for best flavor. Be gentle when handling the batter to keep it tender.
