Instructions
Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Prepare a 9-inch round pan with butter and parchment paper.
Thinly slice 4 oranges and set aside. Extract 1/4 cup orange juice from the slices.
Arrange orange slices in the prepared pan, overlapping slightly. Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of sugar over the slices and pour the orange juice on top.
In a bowl, beat remaining sugar, melted butter, and oil until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Mix in yogurt and orange liqueur. Add flour, baking powder, and salt; stir until just combined.
Pour batter over the orange slices, smooth the surface. Bake for 50-55 minutes until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
Let the cake cool for 15 minutes, then invert onto a serving plate. Remove the pan and parchment paper.

For best results, use fresh oranges and ensure the cake is fully cooled before inverting.
