Ingredients

Dry Ingredients

  • 390 g flour (all-purpose flour)
  • 465 g sugar (crystal sugar)
  • 6 g baking powder
  • 3 g salt (refined salt)

Seeds

  • 2 tbsp poppy seeds

Wet Ingredients

  • 3 pcs eggs (room temperature 25-30°C)
  • 12.7 oz milk (full fat)
  • 10.2 oz oil (neutral flavor)
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.5 tsp almond essence

Additional

  • 0.5 tsp almond essence
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 10 g butter (melted)
  • 50 mL orange juice
  • 90 g powdered sugar (confectioner's sugar)

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Mix dry ingredients. Whisk wet ingredients. Combine and bake for 40 minutes.
