A creamy, nostalgic cereal milk infused with toasted corn flavor, perfect for a refreshing treat.

Ingredients

  • 150 g corn flakes (unsweetened)
  • 1 L whole milk (use lactose-free if desired)
  • 15 g brown sugar
  • 15 g granulated sugar
  • 0.5 g refined salt (a pinch)
  • 5 mL vanilla extract (or 1-2 mL essence, add gradually)

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 150-160ºC (300-320ºF).
  • Spread corn flakes on a baking sheet and toast for 40-50 minutes, stirring occasionally until lightly golden and toasted aroma appears.
  • Cool completely, then transfer to a large bowl and add milk. Let sit for 20-25 minutes.
  • Strain the mixture through a fine sieve, pressing to extract maximum liquid.
  • Mix the milk with sugars, salt, and vanilla.
  • Store in the refrigerator and serve chilled within 3 days.

Notes

Ensure to taste and adjust vanilla gradually for best flavor.
