Ingredients

Chocolate

  • 100 grams chocolate (milk, semi-sweet, or white) (grated or chopped)

Instructions 

  • Grate or chop the chocolate. Place most of it in a microwave-safe bowl.
  • Microwave at high power for 15 seconds, then stir. Repeat until chocolate begins to melt.
  • If needed, microwave for additional 5 seconds, then stir. Check temperature with a thermometer.
  • Add reserved grated chocolate to lower temperature and stir until smooth.
  • Use the melted chocolate for coating, decorating, or shaping as desired.

Notes

Ensure not to overheat to prevent seizing. Use a thermometer for best results.
