A delicious homemade strawberry jam infused with vanilla and ginger, perfect for spreading or gifting.
Ingredients

strawberries (cleaned and without green part)
(Cut in half lengthwise)

orange juice (from 1 orange)

limão siciliano juice (from 1/2 limão siciliano)

Instructions
Cut strawberries in half lengthwise.
Split vanilla bean and scrape seeds.
Combine all ingredients in a large pot: strawberries, citrus juices and peels, vanilla, ginger, and sugar.
Cook over medium-low heat, stirring until sugar dissolves. Simmer for 15-20 minutes until thickened.
Mash strawberries to desired consistency.
Transfer to sterilized jars, cool, and store. Freeze for longer storage if needed.
Notes
Use fresh, ripe strawberries for best flavor. Store in a cool, dry place or freeze for extended shelf life.
