A quick and easy homemade guacamole perfect for snacks and parties. Fresh ingredients come together for a delicious dip.

Ingredients

Vegetables

  • 0.4 cup red onion (cubed small)
  • 0.6 cup tomato (cubed small)
  • 1 piece pimenta dedo de moça (seedless, very small cubes)
  • to taste salsinha fresca (or coentro, chopped)
  • 0.5 piece limão taiti (juice)
  • 1 unit avocado (ripe, cubed)
  • to taste molho de pimenta habanero or Sriracha
  • to taste sal refinado

Instructions 

  • Chop onion, tomato, pimenta, and salsinha. Squeeze lemon juice.
  • Cut the avocado just before serving to prevent browning. Mix some lemon juice with the chopped avocado.
  • Combine tomato, onion, pimenta, salsinha with avocado. Mix well.
  • Adjust seasoning and add hot sauce if desired. Serve chilled with chips or tacos.

Notes

Use ripe avocados for best flavor and texture.
