Enjoy these sweet Korean pancakes filled with a cinnamon sugar and nut mixture, perfect for a cozy treat.

Ingredients

liquids

  • 0.5 cup water (morn)
  • 1.5 tablespoons sugar (cristal)
  • 1 pinch salt (refined)
  • 1.5 grams instant dry yeast
  • 1 tablespoon tablespoon oil (vegetable + for frying)

dry ingredients

  • 1.1 cups flour (trigo)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar (mascavo)
  • 1/4 cup mixed nuts (nozes, amêndoas, castanha do Pará)

spices

  • to taste cinnamon powder

Instructions 

  • Mix water, sugar, and salt until dissolved. Add yeast and oil, stir well.
  • Add flour and mix into a sticky dough. Cover and ferment for 1 hour.
  • Combine brown sugar, cinnamon, and nuts for filling.
  • Divide dough into 4 pieces, flatten into discs, add filling, and seal.
  • Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Fry each pancake for 45-60s, flatten, then cook until golden, flipping as needed.
  • Serve hot.

Notes

Ensure the dough is well sealed to prevent filling from leaking during frying.
