Learn how to make creamy homemade yogurt using a thermal bottle, perfect for a healthy snack.

Ingredients

Dairy

  • 0.5 liter milk, whole
  • 20 grams plain yogurt (unsweetened, full-fat)

Instructions 

  • Heat 250mL of milk until just starting to bubble, then remove from heat.
  • Mix the hot milk with the remaining cold milk, test the temperature (37-40°C), and adjust if necessary.
  • Add the yogurt and stir well. Transfer to the thermal bottle and close tightly.
  • Let it sit at room temperature for 3 hours, then remove the inner seal and keep the bottle closed. Refrigerate to set.
  • Consume within a week; save a spoonful for the next batch.

Notes

Ensure the milk temperature is correct to avoid over- or under-fermentation.
