A basic and versatile pie crust perfect for savory or sweet fillings. Easy to prepare with simple ingredients.

Instructions
Combine flour, sugar, salt, and butter in a bowl.
Fry the butter with fingertips until crumbly, like wet sand. Use a processor if desired.
Add water gradually until dough comes together, about 3 tbsp (55-60mL).
Mix just enough to combine, then shape into a disc, wrap in plastic, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Roll out on a floured surface to max 0.5cm thickness and line your baking dish.
Freeze or chill before baking. Can be frozen if not used immediately.

Keep the dough cold for best results and avoid overworking it.
