Ingredients

Batter

  • 0.7 cup vegetable oil
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1.25 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper (to taste)
  • 0.5 cup mozzarella cheese (cubed)
  • 0.75 cup diced ham (cubed)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley (chopped)

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  • Mix oil, milk, and egg until well combined.
  • Add flour, baking powder, salt, pepper, cheese, ham, and parsley; mix until smooth.
  • Divide batter evenly into muffin cups.
  • Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For a richer flavor, add a pinch of paprika or oregano.
