Delicious stuffed pancakes with Nutella, perfect for a sweet breakfast or snack.

Ingredients

Dough

  • 250 ml milk (whole or semi-skimmed)
  • 1 unit egg
  • 20 g melted butter
  • 8 g vanilla essence
  • 210 g flour (all-purpose)
  • 20 g sugar (crystal sugar)
  • 12 g baking powder
  • 1 g salt (refined)

Nutella filling

  • 160 g Nutella (hazelnut spread)

Instructions 

  • Divide Nutella into 4 discs, freeze.
  • Mix milk, egg, butter, vanilla until smooth.
  • Add flour, sugar, baking powder, salt; mix just to combine.
  • Heat non-stick skillet, lightly oil each time.
  • Pour ½ cup batter, cook on medium-low until edges set.
  • Place frozen Nutella disc in center, cover with batter, cook until golden, flip.
  • Serve with butter and maple syrup.

Notes

Use a non-stick skillet for best results.
