Delicious soft bread filled with creamy Nutella, perfect for a sweet treat or breakfast.

Ingredients

Dough

  • 180 mL milk, warm
  • 60 g sugar (cristal)
  • 5 g instant dry yeast (fermento biológico seco)
  • 300 g flour, all-purpose
  • 1 large egg
  • 60 g vegetable oil
  • 1.5 g refined salt (cerca 1/4 teaspoon)
  • 150 g Nutella or hazelnut-chocolate spread
  • 1 large egg, beaten (for brushing)

Instructions 

  • Mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast; let sit 10 minutes.
  • Combine flour, milk mixture, and egg; add oil and knead until smooth, adding extra flour as needed.
  • Let dough rise for 30-35 minutes, covered.
  • Portion Nutella into small balls, freeze for 30 minutes.
  • Divide dough into 6 pieces, roll into disks, place frozen Nutella in center, seal, and form into balls.
  • Preheat oven to 180°C (356°F). Place balls on floured tray, brush with beaten egg.
  • Let rise for 30 minutes, brush again, then bake for 30-35 minutes until golden.
  • Serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

Ensure Nutella is frozen before filling to prevent melting during baking.
