A delicious Brazilian-style Nutella pudding with caramel, perfect for a sweet treat.

Ingredients

Caramel

  • 0.44 cups sugar (cristal)

Pudding mixture

  • 1.5 cups milk (whole, semi-skimmed, or skimmed)
  • 1.25 cups Nutella
  • 0.85 cups sweetened condensed milk (8% fat)
  • 3 units eggs
  • 1.75 teaspoons cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon teaspoon vanilla essence

Instructions 

  • Heat water in the pudding pan without boiling. Prepare caramel with sugar and spread on the mold.
  • Blend milk, Nutella, condensed milk, eggs, cocoa, and vanilla until smooth. Rest for 15 minutes, then strain if desired.
  • Pour mixture into caramel-coated mold. Cook in a water bath for 1 hour and 20 minutes on low heat.
  • Let cool in water bath for 20 minutes, then cool to room temperature for 30 minutes. Refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight.
  • Unmold and serve. Keep refrigerated and consume within 3-4 days.

Notes

Ensure the caramel is hot enough to spread easily but not burnt.
