A delicious semolina cake with citrus and almond flavors, perfect for special occasions or everyday treats.

Ingredients

Dry ingredients

  • 500 g farinha de semolina grossa
  • 250 g açúcar refinado
  • 3 g fermento químico em pó

Wet ingredients

  • 400 mL leite integral (temperatura ambiente)
  • 120 g manteiga sem sal (derretida)
  • 25 g Tahine (pasta de gergelim para untar a assadeira)
  • 50 g amêndoas (inteiras, sem casca)
  • 600 mL água
  • 250 g açúcar cristal
  • 1 limão siciliano (suco) limão siciliano (suco)
  • 1 limão siciliano (raspas) limão siciliano (raspas)
  • 30 g amêndoa laminada

Instructions 

  • Mix dry ingredients and set aside.
  • Combine wet ingredients and add to dry mixture.
  • Pour batter into greased baking dish, sprinkle with almonds and bake at 350°F for 40 minutes.

Notes

Ensure to use room temperature milk for best results.
