Enjoy a refreshing and easy homemade lemon ice cream without the need for a ice cream maker. Perfect for a quick treat on a hot day.
Ingredients
Fruits and Zest

lemon juice (Taiti)
(about 5 lemons, 300g total)

(above 35% fat, used 45%)

(1 can or box)

vanilla cachaça (optional)
(for caipirinha flavor)
Instructions
Extract zest from 3 lemons before juicing. Squeeze all lemons to get 130mL juice. Reserve zest and juice.
Whip the heavy cream to stiff peaks and refrigerate.
Mix condensed milk and yogurt until smooth.
Add cachaça and lemon juice, mix well. The mixture will thicken.
Fold in whipped cream and lemon zest. Transfer to a container and freeze for at least 4 hours.
Serve a few minutes after removing from freezer for best texture.
Notes
For a creamier texture, let the sorbet sit at room temperature for a few minutes before scooping.
