Enjoy a quick and easy passion fruit ice cream made without an ice cream maker, perfect for a refreshing treat.

Ingredients

  • 140 mL passion fruit pulp (seedless) (about 3 passion fruits, 530g total)
  • 150 g heavy cream (preferably 45% fat)
  • 170 g plain yogurt
  • 395 g sweetened condensed milk (about 1 can)
  • 20 mL vodka (optional) (vanilla cachaça)

Instructions 

  • Microwave or simmer passion fruit pulp until seeds loosen, then strain to remove seeds. Let cool.
  • Whip heavy cream to stiff peaks and refrigerate.
  • Mix condensed milk and yogurt until smooth.
  • Add vodka (if using) and passion fruit pulp. Mix well.
  • Fold in whipped cream and optional seeds. Transfer to container and freeze for at least 3 hours.
  • Serve after freezing. Enjoy!

Notes

For a creamier texture, freeze longer, up to 12 hours.
