A simple and delicious homemade matcha ice cream that requires no ice cream maker. Perfect for a quick treat with vibrant green tea flavor.

Ingredients

Dairy

  • 0.6 cup plain yogurt
  • 1.2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 0.1-0.2 cup matcha powder ((see note for variation))

Cream

  • 1.25 cups heavy cream (chilled, 49% fat)

Instructions 

  • Mix yogurt, condensed milk, and matcha until well combined.
  • Whip the heavy cream to soft peaks.
  • Fold 1/3 of whipped cream into the matcha mixture.
  • Combine all and mix thoroughly.
  • Transfer to a container, freeze for at least 6 hours.

Notes

Adjust matcha to taste for a stronger or milder flavor.
