A refreshing strawberry, yogurt, and rose ice cream perfect for hot days. Easy to prepare at home with natural ingredients.

Ingredients

Fruits and liquids

  • 550 g strawberries (without green part) (bruto: 650g)
  • 150 g crystal sugar
  • 0.25 tsp tahitian lemon juice
  • 2-4 tbsp rose water (depends on taste, used 3 tbsp)
  • 200 mL firm curd
  • 100 mL flavorless yogurt (firm type)

Instructions 

  • Chop the cleaned strawberries into equal pieces and place in a bowl. Add sugar, rose water, and lemon juice. Mix well, cover, and let rest for at least 1 hour.
  • Mix curd and yogurt with the strawberries. Blend until smooth and creamy. For chunks, set aside some strawberries before blending and add after.
  • Cool the mixture for 1 hour in the fridge. Then, churn in an ice cream maker or freeze, stirring every 1.5 hours to break ice crystals.
  • Before serving, remove from freezer a few minutes early. Enjoy this refreshing treat!

Notes

Adjust rose water to taste for a more floral flavor.
